Restaurant Review for Rare
If you like your burgers with a touch of class then try the Rare Bar & Grill in the Shelburne Hotel at the corner of 37th St & Lexington Avenue (about 10min walk from Grand Central Station).
Time Out have an annual Best Burger in NYC award and, following a Corner Bistro monopoly the last few years, Rare recently won the coveted 2nd Best Burger in NYC Award! They have a great range of gourmet burgers as well as a couple of vegetarian options, including a stuffed portobello mushroom burger. Toppings range from several types of cheese to foie gras!
Without exception, everyone that I've introduced to Rare have given it the thumbs up. Enjoy!!!
