Restaurant Review for Hutong
This is a fantastic restaurant. The top floors of 1 Peking Road are in order from the top, Aqua Bar, a very expensive bar, no lighting inside as its lit entirely by the lights of Hong Kong. Below the bar are two italian restaurants, and below them on the 28th Floor is Hutong.
Start in the bar, its too expensive for a crowd, then move down to Hutong. You will not be sorry. It is a perfect place to take a'first timer' to Hong Kong.

| 23-Nov-2007 Agree with all - went there for post wedding celebration meal - Booked table for 6 - for which there was a minimum charge HK$3000 - which meant a fairly pricy meal - encouraged you to splurge on both food and drink to make sure you spent it all! That said, everything was fantastic - unusual food - both tastes and presentation, and for such a special occasion, well worth it in every respect. Get there at or before 8pm and try to get a window seat to enjoy the Festival of Light show on HK Island. Believe you may need to book weeks in advance for best, or even any, table. |
