Restaurant Review for Zum Schmale Wurf
A very nice little bar/restaurant serving a set menu for each day of the week (varies from week to week). Italian themed, usually with at least some pasta-based, meat dishes, with a particularly nice location by the river and looking towards the historic buildings of old Basel. About 10-15 minute walk away from the Radisson: It's on the other side of the river, so towards the centre, across the bridge, and then turn right, walking upstream and it's on your left. On the way back, a nice thing to do is to get the "raft" back to the other side (1-2 SFr), up the steps and back to the hotel. A great central-European experience! Good place for lunch if you're on the late.
